Hi, it looks like you’ve found my little corner of the web. My name is Sheema Siddiqi, I’m 21 and I just graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Communications from Richmond University, the American International University in London.

I am a digital marketing executive for 19 Entertainment. I get to combine my passions for tv, fashion, and music with my passion for communications/social media. My goal is to learn everything I can about the latter and continue to grow as a communications professional.

I guess you could say that I am a total pop culture junkie. My favorite television shows include The Office (I wish I could work at Dunder Mifflin), Entourage, 30 Rock, and Brothers & Sisters. Movie-wise, I could watch Ocean’s 11, Good Will Hunting, The Departed, or any Apatow movie a million times. When can I peel my eyes away from the screen, I love to travel (especially Prague and Copenhagen) , go to concerts (preferably ones involving boybands), read, play soccer and tennis, cheer on the Tampa Bay Bucs, take a million photos, and hang out with my friends. I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware (where Joe Biden is from) and Palm Harbor, Florida, but I have been living in London for the past three years. It has been an incredible and eye-opening experience for me.

This blog will document my transition from life a student to that of the “real world”, my experiences as an American abroad, all things entertainment, social media, and whatever else appeals to me.
